4. World Map
The world map is a persistent, real-time battlefield where players interact, explore, conquer, and form large-scale strategies. Player bases, AI camps, guild territory, and trade routes are all visible in real time.
🧭 Core Map Components
- Tiles: Grid-based land with terrain attributes like sand, oasis, rock, and ruins.
- Regions: Zones like desert valleys, trade crossroads, and highland cliffs define resource rarity and AI strength.
- Player Camps: Player bases are visible on the map with power level, guild flag, and online status.
- Oases: Strategic zones that generate water, rare herbs, and serve as guild control points.
- Ancient Sites: Special PvE points that offer timed dungeons, buffs, or relic hunts.
- Bandit Camps: Dynamic enemy locations that respawn and drop gear, silver, and XP.
- Trade Routes: Caravans pass through here; players may escort, tax, or ambush them.
🏃 Movement Rules
- Marching: Players send troops to targets (PvP, PvE, gathering). Time is based on unit speed and terrain.
- Camels: Move faster on desert and are immune to sandstorm slow debuffs.
- March Slots: Number of simultaneous movements a player can have. Increases with HQ and research.
🌫️ Scouting & Fog of War
- Unexplored Tiles: Covered by fog. Players must scout or travel to reveal them.
- Scouting Missions: Reveal enemy composition, activity, and nearby resources.
⚔️ Territory Control
- Guild Zones: Claimed when a guild owns the majority of tiles in a region.
- Bonuses: Faster healing, bonus resource gathering, reduced marching costs in owned territory.
- War Zones: Appear when territories are contested between two or more guilds.
🌪️ Dynamic Map Events
- Nomad Invasions: Random AI horde attacks on central map zones or high-value landmarks.
- Sandstorms: Reduce vision radius, slow movement by 50%, and last for 3–5 minutes.
- Relic Hunts: Random timed spawns of rare loot guarded by PvE bosses.
